Statement: I was born in Alaska and raised by a single mother. After my family moved to Tacoma in 1994, I worked to support myself and family while attending Tacoma Community College and the University of Puget Sound. I worked for IATSE Local 15 after college for several years until being accepted into Seattle University School of Law.

For over 15 years, I represented hundreds of clients in appeals at every court level in Washington, including Suquamish Tribal Court. My job was to review their trial and look for errors committed by the judge and lawyers. As an administrative law judge, I ensure individuals are treated fairly and the law is upheld and applied correctly.

My life, career and professional experience have prepared me to be a judge for Tacoma. I know how one wrong decision can change your whole life. As a lawyer, I reviewed and analyzed trials for errors in interpreting and applying the law. As an administrative law judge, I have presided over hundreds of hearings, analyzing the facts and the law before issuing decisions.

I will ensure the law is applied correctly, fairly, and equitably. I look forward to serving Tacoma as a judge. www.reedspeirlaw.org
