Statement: Dee has tried cases as a prosecutor and defense attorney. At the Department of Assigned Counsel, she has represented individuals charged with felonies in Superior Court, and misdemeanors in District Court and Tacoma Municipal Court. Dee specifically represented individuals in Department 1 of Tacoma Municipal Court, and learned the ins and outs of the very court she now seeks to lead.

Dee is a public servant who puts Tacoma first. She loves her community and hopes to continue investing in its future through compassionate leadership as a judge. She has partnered with local non-profits to raise money for community members in need and helped support local and small businesses.

Dee continues to work within the system for needed reforms and with community partners to ensure equitable justice for all participants whether victims or defendants. Over the last year, Dee has worked to improve our Felony Drug Court Program.

If elected as Tacoma Municipal Court Judge, Dee will be dedicated to upholding the rule of law in a fair and impartial manner. Each person who would appear in Department 1 will be treated with dignity and respect. Dee is a wife and mother and respectfully asks for your vote.
