Legal/Judicial Experience: Rico Tessandore has 10 years judicial experience as a pro tem Superior Court Judge, more experience than all the other candidates combined. He kept our community safe as a deputy prosecutor and has more than 17 years of courtroom experience.

Other Professional Experience: Routinely selected by the Superior Court as Settlement Guardian ad Litem to protect the best interests of injured children.

Education: JD, Northeastern University School of Law, 1998; BA, Seattle University, 1994.

Community Service: Sno-Isle Library Board of Trustees, immediate past President; Edmonds Community College Paralegal Advisory Board; County Bar Association, past President.

Rico Tessandore brought hundreds of criminals to justice as part of the Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit, protecting both children and the elderly. With over 17 years of experience as a trial lawyer – both as a prosecutor and civil litigator — Rico has a uniquely balanced perspective that will serve our community well.

Raised in a small rural Washington town by a single mother, Rico worked his way through school to become the rst college graduate in his family. Rico lives in Everett with his wife Anna and their children, Lily and John.
