Legal/Judicial Experience: Special Assistant Attorney General, Minnesota; Associate, Ater Wynne LLP, Portland, Oregon; Partner, Annala, Carey, Baker, Thompson & VanKoten, Hood River, Oregon; Served as Judge Pro Tem in Klickitat County Superior Court, East and West District Courts, Skamania County District Court and Hood River Municipal Court; Court Appointed Arbitrator, Oregon's Seventh Judicial District and Klickitat County Superior Court; Member, Oregon Bar's Local Professional Responsibility Committee; admitted to Oregon and Washington State Bars.

Education: Lewis and Clark College, B.A.; University of Minnesota, J.D., cum laude.

Community Service: Board Member, Trout Lake Community Foundation; Trout Lake High School Varsity Soccer Coach.

Statement: I have practiced law for 27 years. During that time I have worked in government, in a large metropolitan law firm, and for the past 20 years as a small town lawyer in the Gorge. This diversity of experience has provided me with the knowledge and skills to serve our community as the next West District Court Judge.

If elected as your Judge, I pledge to be thoroughly prepared in all proceedings, evenhanded in my rulings, and treat all who appear in court with respect. I will work tirelessly in this position and would be honored to receive your vote.
