Court of AppealsDivision Two, District One(Pierce County)District One elects three judges; all three positions will be on the 2014 ballot. Judge Brad Maxa was appointed to Position 1 by the Governor. He is running for re-election without opposition to the two years remaining on his term. Judge Lisa Worswick is the Position 2 incumbent. She is running for re-election without opposition. Judge Linda Lee was appointed by the Governor She is running for re-election without opposition to the four years remaining on her term. |

Superior CourtMost Superior Court judges were elected in 2012, and they will be up for election again in 2016. Judge Elizabeth Martin and Edmund Murray were appointed to their positions by the Governor earlier this year. Because nobody filed against either of them, they received Certificates of Election after filing week. Their positions will not appear on the ballot. District CourtDistrict Court judges are elected to four-year terms, and all District Court positions are up for election in 2014. The Position 8 race will appear on the Primary ballot, with the top
two candidates proceeding to the November ballot. In
the other seven Positions, the incumbent judges are running for
re-election without opposition.
Tacoma Municipal CourtAll Tacoma Municipal Court positions are up for election this year.

Position 2 will appear on the November ballot. The
incumbents in Positions 1 and 3 are unopposed.
