Legal/Judicial Experience: Ruston Municipal Court Judge, 2003-2014; Milton Municipal Court Judge, 2006-2014; Judge Pro Tem in fifteen courts in three counties, 1999-2014.

Other Professional Experience: Prosecuting Attorney, 1993-2005; Attorney in private practice, 1988-2011; Washington State Bar Association, CLE Presenter; Seattle University School of Law, Trial Advocacy, Substitute Professor.

Education: University of Washington School of Law, Juris Doctorate; Central Washington University, Bachelor of Arts.

Community Service: Association of the United States Army Meriwether Lewis Chapter Member; United States Army, Criminal Law CLE Presenter; YMCA & Seattle University School of Law Mock Trial Competitions Volunteer Judge, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, Volunteer.

Statement: Sandy Allen is the clear choice for District Court Judge because of her exceptional reputation and experience as a municipal court judge for the past 11 years.

Sandy Allen is the only candidate in this race with the necessary experience as an appointed municipal court judge, prosecutor and attorney in private practice. Sandy has exactly the right type of legal and community service experience that we need from our judges. That is precisely why so many judges - including former Washington State Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerry Alexander, Court of Appeals Judge Lisa Worswick, and 15 other members of the bench - have endorsed Sandy in this important election.
