Jeanette Lineberry

Legal/Judicial Experience: Jeanette serves as Judge Pro Tem on Pierce County District Court and Lakewood Municipal Court. She oversees a full docket of criminal and civil cases.

Other Professional Experience: Attorney at Lineberry Law Firm; Attorney at Crystal Judson Family Justice Center; former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pierce County.

Education: B.A., Political Science, University of Washington; J.D., Seattle University School of Law.

Community Service: Jeanette provides free legal representation for low-income individuals in family law cases, and serves on the Superior Court Commission, FJC Fund Development Committee, and Superior Court Commissioner Liaison Committee as well as volunteering at her daughters’ school.

Statement: With balanced experience as a Deputy Prosecutor, Private Attorney, and Judge Pro Tem, Jeanette Lineberry is the right choice for Pierce County District Court. Jeanette and her husband Doug, a Major in the Army, live in Gig Harbor with their two daughters.

Even-handed and even-tempered, Jeanette is already working for us as a Judge Pro Tem on Pierce County District Court and Lakewood Municipal Court, presiding over hundreds of cases. We can trust Jeanette to be diligent, thorough and fair.

Jeanette has a proven record of community service and protecting public safety. As Deputy Prosecutor for Pierce County, she handled some of the most serious cases and held offenders accountable. Jeanette is dedicated to protecting the vulnerable, providing legal services for domestic violence victims with the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center. Jeanette believes in access to justice and the rule of law.
