Marcus Naylor

King County District Court

Northeast Division, Position Three

This race will appear on the August Ballot.

Marcus Naylor

Education: JD, Seattle University Law School, BA, Trinity Lutheran College.

Occupation: Supervising Attorney, King County DPD; Judge Pro Tem, District Courts.

Statement: Our courts must be accessible to citizens and provide opportunities to be heard. I want to champion those rights and help citizens to understand how the law applies to their situation. I bring 22 years of experience working/supervising throughout our courts, representing thousands of citizens and ensuring protection of their rights.

Unlike other elected officials where political connections matter, judges must possess mastery of the law and the courage to make difficult decisions. I am endorsed by people who recognize those traits: over 30 judges from King County, Chief Justice Barbara Madsen and Justice Yu (Washington Supreme Court), Chief Judge Michael Spearman (Washington Court of Appeals); 100+ Lawyers; Correction/Probation Officers, Clerks, and Bailiffs, all staff who have actually watched me work.

Integrity, compassion, and justice are my goals. I was born in South Korea, lived in an orphanage until 9, then was adopted by loving American Parents. With their support, I became an attorney. I have proudly served as a part-time judge for many years and with your support, I will serve as a full-time judge.

It is important to choose the right judge. I believe my background, experience, and endorsements speak for themselves. Visit www.marcusnaylor.com for more information.
