Elected Presiding Judge 2014-2015. Served as visiting Judge in Whitman, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Asotin and Stevens County. Honorary member Fairchild Bar Association.

Other Professional Experience: Owned/ managed Real Estate Brokerages in Washington and Idaho, Escrow Officer. Funeral Director license since 1974.

Education: Gonzaga University BA 1974, Graduate Judicial College 2004, 2014

Community Service: Spokane River Association, Honorary Commander US Air Force (Fairchild), Campfire USA, Camp Neewahlu and Dart-lo Task Force, President International Order of Blue Gavel, Spokane County Shoreline and Short Plat Review Committees. Exchange Club

Statement: Judge Brandt is committed to keeping our community a safe place to live, work and raise a family. He feels judges should be respectful, fair minded and courteous, while holding those guilty of crimes accountable for their actions and their impact on the community. He makes his decisions impartially based on the law and facts. Judge Brandt has worked tirelessly to improve efficiency in the court and keeping costs down. Born in Spokane, Judge Brandt brings decades of legal and business experience to the bench and is involved in the community. Judge Brandt serves with integrity and distinction.
