Legal/Judicial Experience: Elected as District Court Judge in 2006, Re-Elected in 2010, Court Assignments include Traffic, Criminal, Mental Health Court, DV Civil Protection Orders, Civil Department. Elected as Presiding Judge 2012, 2013

Other Professional Experience: State Judicial Committees include: DMCJA Legislation Committee, Co-Chair BJA Court Security Committee, Co-Chair, DMCJA Therapeutic Courts, DMCJA/SCJA Court Security Committee.

Education: SCC Paralegal Degree, Eastern Washington University BA Pre-Law Degree 1994, Gonzaga School of Law J.D. 1999.

Community Service: Kiwanis, Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University & WSU Mock Trial Judge, Washington Women Lawyers, Spokane County Domestic Violence Policy Board.

Statement: I pledge to continue to abide by the highest standards of personal and professional ethics. My experience both as a judge and a community leader make me uniquely qualified to continue to serve as your Spokane County District Court Judge. Supporting alternatives to incarceration when warranted reduces recidivism. People often deserve a second chance especially those with mental illness who desperately need access to medication & treatment. Crime victims' right to have their voices heard is paramount and Public Safety is my first priority! I appreciate your vote because I believe "Justice Matters" to all of us.
