Experience: Judge Leach has served on the Court of Appeals since
March 1, 2008. His colleagues selected him to serve as Acting Chief
Judge 2010-2012 and Chief Judge 2012-2014.
Other Professional Experience: Before becoming a judge, Judge
Leach was in private practice in Snohomish County for over 31 years.
Education: 1973- University of Washington, B. A. History,
1976-University of Washington School of Law, J. D.
Community Service: Volunteered on the boards of the Providence
General Foundation, Deaconess Children’s Services and the Arts Council
of Snohomish County and as a judge for local YMCA mock trial program.
Statement: Thank you for the opportunity to serve the citizens of
Snohomish County and Washington State.
