Superior CourtSuperior Court judges are elected to four-year terms. Most Superior Court positions throughout Washington are up for election in 2012. In counties with a population of less than 100,000, all Superior Court candidates will appear on the August 7 primary ballot, regardless of whether they face opposition. Two candidates are running for an open seat in Department 1. This race will be decided in the primary election! The following incumbent is running without opposition:
District CourtHeidi Smith was appointed to the District Court in December 2011. She is running to complete the last two years of her term. |
