Statement: Allen Miller has the experience and integrity we need for our Superior Court Judges. For 30 years, Allen has litigated in the Superior Courts throughout the State of Washington. He has handled hundreds of cases at every level of the courts up to the United States Supreme Court. He has also been Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington and a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Thurston County in addition to serving as an arbitrator and mediator decid ing cases and resolv ing disputes brought before the Thurston County Superior Court and other trial courts. Allen has tried cases in front of the seven judges who have retired over his thirty year career. He will bring to the bench: Judge Doran’s thoroughness, Judge Alexander’s sense of history, Judge Fuller’s compassion, Judge Hicks’ intelligence, Judge Berschauer’s affability, Judge Strophy’s decisiveness, and Judge Pomeroy’s optimism. Allen is very active in the community, elected to the Olympia School Board, and leader of the United Way and other organizations.
