Statement: People who end up in front of a Judge are usually not happy. Whether they are accused of a crime, divorcing their spouse, arguing over a contract or dealing with damage claims, standing up in front of a court is generally unpleasant and expensive. That is why it is important that the person who sits behind the bench knows how you feel standing before it and does his or her best to make the process fair and cost effective.

Unfortunately, the court system is now a place where the Judge's empathy is lost behind a system of rules and formalities that emphasize form over substance. As our court system has expanded, its function has narrowed. Courts no longer strive to reduce the stress you feel in front of a Judge, they augment it. And frequently, they do so needlessly.

During the past 34 years Toni Froehling has experienced with his clients the fear and apprehension that people feel upon entering a court room and he has worked as an advocate to help those people feel positive about their justice system. He will provide the same service from the bench. Ask your lawyer if it isn't time for a change.
