Community Service: Provide low /no cost legal services to those in need.

Statement: My wife and I consider ourselves fortunate to live in Jefferson County. We believe it is an ideal place to raise our children, two of whom attend public school. We are committed to this community and I would like the opportunity to serve it further by being your next Superior Court Judge.

Jefferson County has one Superior Court Judge who must be a jack of all trades. The more diverse their litigation background the better. I have practiced law for 24 years; nearly half as a deputy prosecutor in Jefferson and Mason Counties, with the balance as a public defender and private practitioner. I have argued before our State Supreme Court several times and the Court of Appeals many more times. I have tried well over a hundred cases, many of which were felony jury trials. Case responsibility has included crimes from minor driving offenses to multiple aggravated murder cases.

I have represented clients in countless civil matters. As counsel for a Seattle insurance defense firm I was responsible for 10 - 20 million dollars in potential claims with cases ranging from fender benders to wrongful death, complex construction litigation, and a multi-million dollar arson.

I would appreciate your vote.
