Statement: Our best judges have been experienced trial lawyers. Thirty-two years of successful trial practice in Washington, Oregon, and the federal courts, make me the best qualified candidate for this office.

Representing individuals, corporations, and organizations, conducting trials, and providing legal advice in civil, criminal, business, real estate, probate, family law, corporate law and other fields, has given me the experience and background required of a Superior Court judge.

Our courts have a long-standing problem. Trial dates are scheduled, witnesses are prepared, lawyers are ready, but repeatedly civil trial dates are stricken at the last minute. We reset those dates months later, yet all too often they are stricken again. Judges in other counties and other courts have solved this problem. I will dedicate myself to solving it here.

Cowlitz County deserves the best judges available. We need judges with legal experience, who are able to mete out proper decisions, and who have the background necessary to lead our courts. I grew up in Cowlitz County. I care about our community. I will bring all of my energy and experience to serve you in the Superior Court of Cowlitz County.
