Statement: For over 34 years, Curtis has been a successful trial attorney involving both jury and non-jury trials representing people and small businesses in many diverse areas of law, including personal injury, dissolution, business contracts, real property, misdemeanor/criminal and estate/probate matters. In his legal career, he has personally tried 27 jury trials and numerous uncounted bench trials to the court. He has more than 14 years experience as a District Court Judge Pro Tem and has been a Superior Court Arbitrator for over 17 years deciding cases concerning accident/injury claims, construction/building defects and contractual claims.

Curtis has demonstrated the necessary abilities for honesty, diligence, fairness and integrity. He possesses a thorough knowledge in a broad spectrum of the law and is dedicated to work hard to obtain a just result. His many decades as a trial attorney and years spent as a judge pro tem and an arbitrator have provided invaluable experience for a smooth transition to the superior court judge's position. He comes well disciplined to do an outstanding job in a fair and impartial manner with courtesy and respect for all parties, witnesses and legal counsel and will effectively administer the law.
