Statement: I believe in old-fashioned justice. I believe that a judge should not make new law. I believe that the legislative branch should make new law. I believe a judge should follow the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Washington and not ignore them. I believe in the right of the people to keep and bear arms. I believe in the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. I believe that no person should be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb. I believe that private property should not be taken for public use without just compensation. I believe that in all criminal prosecutions, the accused should enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial.

My qualifications: Graduate WSU, 24 years U.S. Army and Army Reserve, 30 years of law practice in Texas, Arizona and Washington, many years a Pro-Tem Judge, District Court Judge in Spokane County for approx. two years, member American Legion.
