Legal/Judicial Experience: Currently San Juan County Superior Court Judge. 26 years as San Juan County Superior Court Commissioner. Admitted to Washington Bar in 1979; 31 years private practice in San Juan County;
Education: University of Vermont, BA in 1964; Boston College Law School, JD in 1967; Commissioned Officer in United States Army, 1968-1971.
Community Service: Board of Directors for The Whale Museum for 20 years; pro bono legal services for The Whale Museum and Spring Street International School; Volunteer with the 4-H Program, Little League Baseball, Friday Harbor High School Sailing Program, Friday Harbor Ski School Program, and LOGOS Youth Program.
Statement: Having lived and practiced law in San Juan County for 31 years, I know the people, the issues, and the values that make up this unique community. As San Juan County's only Superior Court Commissioner for 26 years, and now as its only Superior Court Judge, I have gained the experience and knowledge necessary to continue serving with distinction as your elected Judge.
