Court of AppealsDivision Two, District Three(Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties)District Three elects two judges; Position 2 will be on the 2010 ballot. Jill Johanson received more than 50% of the votes in the primary, so she will appear on the November ballot without opposition.

Superior CourtKlickitat and Skamania Counties constitute a single judicial district. Due to a vacancy on the bench caused by retirement, on July 28 the Governor appointed Brian Altman to fill the vacancy. The seat will immediately be up for election: There will be a special 3-day filing period August 23-25, and all candidates who file will appear on the November ballot. The candidate with the most votes in that election will win the position. There will not be a runoff election. This position will be on the ballot again in 2012. |

District CourtDistrict Court judges are elected to four-year terms, and all District Court positions are up for election in 2010. There are no contested District Court elections in the county this year. The incumbent judge, Ron Raynier, is running for re-election without opposition. |
