CANDIDATE STATEMENT: From isolated chambers in Olympia, our Supreme Court Justices affirm or reverse decisions of all other Washington judges and juries and dictate the operating Rules for the State's courts. Litigation is just plain too expensive! These Rules need to be modernized to make pretrial procedures more efficient and to provide for the economies of electronic technology. After 18 years it is time to elect a Justice who actually has had broad, first hand trial experience – someone with knowledge of present day litigation practices across Washington. EXPERIENCE: Mr. Beecher's experience has uniquely prepared him to understand the needs and concerns of litigants throughout Washington. He has handled many hundreds of cases across our state representing governments, businesses and individuals – in cases as diverse as consumer protection, construction, civil rights, insurance and the environment. DISTINCTIONS: ● consistently received Martindale's highest rating for legal ability and integrity ● set verdict records in several counties ● elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates ● listed in Best Lawyers in America ● included yearly as a "Super Lawyer" in Washington Law and Politics ● identified in Metropolitan Seattle Magazine as one of the "Best Lawyers in Seattle" |
