Candidate Statement: My decision to run for Judge is based on the very reasons I have a law practice in this great community and why I became a practicing attorney in 1984. I have a passion for helping people and righting the wrongs of this world. I see the Superior Court judgeship as an opportunity for me to combine my dedication to justice and community with the wisdom gained from my experiences as an attorney, in service to the residents of Mason County. I opened my Belfair law practice in 1994 and since 1998, I have served as Judge Pro Tem in Mason County District Court. I served as Judge Pro Tem in Shelton Municipal Court from 1997 to 2002. Throughout my legal career I have been accustomed to working hard and spending the extra time necessary to reach just conclusions to difficult problems. I will bring the same energy and drive to the bench and am committed to providing a right and just ruling for every matter that comes before me. I welcome the daily challenges this new position will present. For more information, please visit my campaign website at www.DanGoodell.org
