Current Occupation/Employer: Sole Proprietor of Law Firm of Jeanette Dalton, Kingston, WA.

Legal/Judicial Experience: Practiced law since 1983 trying hundreds of criminal and civil cases; a reputation as one of the best trial attorneys in Kitsap County. Only candidate with experience as a substitute JUDGE in several different courts.

Significant Career Experience: Thousands of appearances in government, state and federal courts, hundreds of jury trials. Dozens of Appeals including death penalty cases.

Education: BA, Business Administration, UW (1981). JD, University of Puget Sound (1984).

Family: Enjoys traveling, scuba diving and music with husband Ken and their dogs. A member of the community for 17 years living near Eglon, WA.

As a prosecuting attorney, Jeanette fought passionately for victim's rights. As a defense attorney, a champion for our Constitution. In the civil arena, a voice for families, homeowners and small businesses. And as a substitute Judge, the guarantor of fair, ethical proceedings in the best tradition of our system of justice. Jeanette has the experience needed for our Superior Court.

Jeanette's values come from growing up in a military family and putting herself through school. A devotion to truth and common sense; a tireless work ethic; and the strength to stand for what's right. Jeanette has the character needed in our Superior Court.

At home, Jeanette enjoys the company of family and friends and the exhilaration of outdoors activities. Barbeques, walks with the dogs, scuba diving Puget Sound; these and charitable activities occupy Jeanette's time in her community.
