Division Three, District OneJudge Kevin Korsmo received more than 50% of the votes cast in the August 19 primary, and he will accordingly appear on the November 4 ballot unopposed. |

Superior CourtSuperior Court judges are elected to four-year terms. All Superior Court positions throughout Washington are up for election in 2008. In counties with a population of less than 100,000, all Superior Court candidates will appear on the August 19 primary ballot, regardless of whether they face opposition. If there is a contested primary election, a candidate receiving more than 50% of the votes will appear on the November 4 ballot unopposed. If no candidate receives more than 50% in the primary, the two receiving the most votes will appear on the November 4 ballot. No candidate received more than 50% of the votes in the primary election, so the two candidates who received the most votes will appear on the November 4 ballot. |

District CourtDistrict Court judges are elected to four-year terms; they were elected in 2006, and their terms extend through the end of 2010. Vacant positions may appear on the 2008 ballot. |
