Submitting Information

The core goal of VotingforJudges is to provide information to voters about candidates for judicial office.

VotingforJudges will obtain candidate biographical information and candidate statements from the Secretary of State's official Judicial Voters' Pamphlet when it is published.

Candidates who would like to have their biographical information and statements available at VotingforJudges before the Judicial Voters' Pamphlet is published are invited to submit that same information directly to us. We will accept submissions under the same guidelines that have been specified by the Secretary of State, so you need only prepare your information once.

What to Include

The basic format of the information you may provide is as follows:

  1. A statement of the candidate to the voters, not to exceed 200 words.
  2. A biography with the following headings may also be provided; it cannot exceed a total of 100 words (not counting the words of the headings themselves):
    ● Current Occupation/Employer
    ● Legal/Judicial Experience
    ● Significant Career Experience
    ● Education
    ● Family
  3. A photo of the candidate.

For further information and content guidelines, see the brochure prepared by the Secretary of State.

Where to Send

Email the above materials, along with the web address of your campaign's official site (if you have one) to [email protected]. If you have questions, those can be sent to the same address.
