LEGAL/JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE: 20 years of law practice in our community, representing many diverse people. Founder, City Club of Tacoma; Former Executive Director of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association; Active in local, state, and national legal associations; Past President of the Tacoma Arts Commission; Currently serve on the Board of Annie Wright School.

Candidate Statement: Judges must be fair and impartial. I believe Judges should not legislate from the bench; the people and legislature make the laws. I understand the issues I will be deciding affect real people and families. I firmly believe and demonstrate that everyone who uses our courts should be treated with fairness and respect. I am proud to help people understand their rights and the legal system. My pledge to you is to never forget where I came from and for whom I work, the people. It will be an honor to serve you on the Court of Appeals.
