District CourtThere will be four contested District Court elections on your ballot in November. One position was effectively decided in the primary. Position Two: Sara Derr won more than 50 percent of the votes in the September primary, so she will be running unopposed on the November ballot. Position Three: John Cooney and Mark Laiminger are running for this open position on the November ballot. Position Four: Mary Logan is running against the incumbent, Patti Connolly Walker, on the November ballot. Position Five: Jeffrey Leslie is running against the incumbent, Gregory Tripp, on the November ballot. Position Six: Five candidates ran in the September primary. The two candidates with the most votes – Debra Hayes and Mike Nelson – will appear on the November ballot. The incumbent, Harvey Dunham, did not receive enough votes to proceed to the general election. |
