Candidate Statement: Keeping our families and community safe is Judge Tripp’s primary goal. He believes Judges must be fair, open-minded, and courteous. Judge Tripp is the only candidate with proven experience as a prosecutor, practicing lawyer and judge. He believes individuals convicted of crimes need to be held accountable. Judge Tripp lives and works in the Spokane community, where he and JoAnn have raised and educated their two daughters. Judge Tripp is endorsed by the county’s prosecutor and public defender, police guild, state troopers, business leaders, the labor council, many judges and lawyers, and rated “exceptionally well qualified” by Washington Women Lawyers.
