LEGAL/JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE: I have been a Deputy Prosecutor for Spokane County since July 1987. I currently work on cases involving Drug Endangered Children. I helped develop Spokane County’s Drug Court and served on the Spokane County Substance Abuse Advisory Board. I have over 300 hours of specialized training and have taught at seminars on Victim/Witness Advocacy, Drug Court, Domestic Violence, Prosecutorial Ethics (Sept. 2006) and Anti-Bias Policing.

Candidate Statement: Senior Deputy Prosecutor Mark Laiminger has successfully prosecuted thousands of cases for Spokane County - from car theft and forgery to drug dealing and child molestation. In 19 years as a prosecutor, he has developed the skills required to be an outstanding judge. Mark is committed to accountability, community safety and fairness. Among others, he has been endorsed by Spokane County Prosecutor Steve Tucker and by his colleagues, Deputy Prosecutors Union, Local 1553-PA. With over three times the experience of his opponent, Mark Laiminger is the only candidate for Position 3 with the experience the District Court needs.
