Candidate Statement: When voting for judicial candidates, experience matters. Fully 85 percent of the work of District Court is criminal or traffic related. I have regularly served as Judge Pro Tem in Skagit County District and Municipal Courts and practice criminal law as both a prosecutor and public defender. I have served the local bar as Vice-President and President. District Court is the place where the public most often interacts with government. That interaction must be impartial, respectful and effective. Experience matters, and I have the right experience. I would appreciate your vote for District Court Judge.
