Candidate Statement: In the 2005 King County Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Survey, I ranked higher across the board than my opponent, Mary Ann Ottinger, in judicial decision-making, courtroom demeanor, judicial impartiality and overall judicial performance (www.kcba.org). In 2004, the Commission on Judicial Conduct censured Mary Ann Ottinger for multiple Judicial Code of Conduct violations. In 2006, the Washington Supreme Court censured her again and suspended her from judicial office for thirty days (www.cjc.state.wa.us).
