LEGAL/JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE: I have 23 years legal experience with 11 years in prosecution as deputy prosecutor in Grays Harbor and San Juan Counties and as Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor in Jefferson and Clallam Counties. My remaining legal career consists of criminal defense, civil cases, family law, business law, personal injury and bankruptcies. I have handled a full range of cases from traffic infractions through Aggravated Murder in the First Degree and have extensive jury trial experience.
OPTIONAL INFORMATION: I have BA, MBA, and JD Degrees, am married with 2 sons, have lived in Jefferson County 11 years, and am a licensed private pilot.

Candidate Statement: I have significant courtroom experience, including motions and trial practice as both prosecutor and defender. I believe I have the most balanced background and experience of any of the candidates. As judge, I will insure a fair forum for all participants and will treat all parties with respect and patience. I believe in treating everyone in court fairly and without bias. My education, training and courtroom experience enable me to understand legal arguments and objections and will aid me in maintaining the highest standards of law in Jefferson County District Court.
