Statement
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Clallam County's first female Superior Court Judge. It is a responsibility that I take very seriously. As your judge, I will vigorously protect our system of open courts and judicial independence. My goal and commitment to the citizens of Clallam County is to make sure legal matters are handled efficiently, competently and according to law. I believe in treating everyone who appears in front of me with courtesy and respect. Those who have committed crimes will be treated fairly but will be held accountable.

My hope is that people who have appeared in front of me feel they were heard, and their issue understood - even if the ultimate decision did not go their way.

I strongly believe in therapeutic courts and am currently the presiding drug court judge. The County Law and Justice Committee of which I am a member is working hard to establish a mental health court.
