Itís very humbling to be running in an election during a pandemic.
Itís a time when our community needs people with experience. I'm running
for this office because I have over 31 years of experience as a lawyer
and many years of life experience to contribute. Experience matters. I
want to use my experience to serve our community.
Iíve worked extensively in all Washington Courts up to and including our
Supreme Court. I've had the honor of representing a client in the United
States Supreme Court.
Iíve done criminal prosecution and defense; child dependency matters -
representing both children and parents; as well as divorces and personal
injury cases. I strive to truly help the people that I represent, always
remaining mindful of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Justice consists of respecting the rights of every person. I became a
lawyer because I have a passion for justice. Judges are, first and
foremost, public servants. They exist to ensure that people receive
justice. Judges must be independent, impartial, and have had extensive
prior experience as attorneys - not merely working on legal issues but
working patiently with people who have difficult legal problems. I have
those qualifications and that experience.
