Mason County District Court

John Bonin

Legal/Judicial Experience: I am an attorney who lives and works in Mason County. You can learn more about me at www.johnbonin.com and www.votebonin.com

Other Professional Experience: I used to work in Television as an Associate Producer for news programs.

Education: My law degree (J.D.) is from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. My undergraduate degree (B.S.) is from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Community Service: I am a former Board of Director of "Phoenix Place" a domestic violence shelter in Wenatchee, Washington. My current community service includes volunteer (pro bono) legal services and advice.

Statement: My 22 years of legal service in Washington State has been varied. I am best known for my work in personal injury, but I have also always been the guy to call to get basic information about almost everything. I frequent District Court and have helped people in nearly every type of action in District Court. I love the challenge of examining facts and considering them with a critical eye. District Court is about people. I am about people. If elected, I stand ready to do the job well. The most important responsibility for any judge is to be fair. The most important skill is the ability to listen. No matter the outcome people deserve to know they have been heard. You have now heard me. I thank you for that.
