Statement:
Joshua Schaer’s experience is unmatched, making him the best choice for District Court. Joshua is the only candidate who served in all these roles: elected official, Judge Pro Tem, public defender and civil attorney. A 30-year Eastside resident, Joshua is committed to our community. He was twice-elected to the Issaquah City Council, taught Sunday School for a decade, and volunteered with his children’s sports, Skyline HS Mock Trial, and Bellevue College Foundation.

In his 17-year career, Joshua achieved success in complex trials and appeals. Joshua’s legal knowledge, broad perspective, and 11 years’ Judge Pro Tem experience will enhance our judiciary. With his reputation for integrity and fairness, he’s rated “well qualified” by multiple Bar Associations.
