Statement: From Kamilche and Matlock to Allyn and Belfair, the
Skokomish to the Hamma Hamma, and Hoodsport and Union to Toonerville and
Tahuya, Mason County respects hard work and personal accountability.
4th-generation Mason County resident Eric Valley will instill those
values as our next Mason County District Court Judge.
Eric graduated from Shelton High School and Dartmouth College, was on
the Law Review at Tulane Law School and practiced corporate and maritime
finance law. He was a Deputy Mason County Prosecutor, and has had law
offices on Railroad Avenue in Shelton since 1998. In 2015 he appealed
the unlawful closing of the Shelton High School pool, which remains
open. He played trombone in local dance band Swing Fever and is active
in United States Masters Swimming.
Courts are neutral and should apply the law efficiently, with attention
to detail and respect for the rights of individuals and the rule of law.
Eric has 30 years’ experience in state and federal courts. He knows how
to run a court.
