Thurston County District Court
Position Two
After
growing up in Olympia, I studied law and returned to serve our
community. I’ve served in every courtroom role – defender, prosecutor,
civil attorney, and judge for Thurston County, Olympia, and Yelm courts.
I’ve represented over 1,000 clients in felonies, misdemeanors, civil
suits, and family law. As Volunteer Legal Clinic president, I worked for
equal access to justice regardless of economic circumstances. With Big
Brothers/Big Sisters, I supported programs for at-risk youth. I’m
honored to be endorsed by Chief Justice Gerry Alexander, Justice Mary
Fairhurst, Representative Brendan Williams, Commissioner Bob McLeod, and
Ralph Munro. When polled, local attorneys overwhelmingly preferred me
over all other candidates because – I believe – they know my experience,
fairness, and integrity. As judge, I will treat every person with
respect. I will promote innovations like mental health court. I will
hold people accountable. And I will apply the law with fairness for all.
