Thurston County District Court
Position Two
I
am dedicated to increasing the impact and accessibility of
rehabilitative options, including the current Mental Health and DUI
Courts, and the creation of a Domestic Violence Court. These specialized
court systems better serve both offenders and victims. I believe it is
necessary to maximize the benefit of taxpayer dollars by streamlining
payment and filing systems in both civil and criminal courts, given
these economic times. With over a decade of experience as a legal
advocate: defense and prosecution, civil and criminal, I am dedicated to
seeking justice and creative means of ensuring the safety and health of
all community members. I will approach my duties as judge with
compassion, intellect, and impartiality to best serve our community in
the years to come. My endorsements include a wide range of citizens and
local leaders, including Sheriff Dan Kimball, Treasurer Robin Hunt,
Judge Christine Pomeroy, and Capital Kids Connection.
