Campaign Contributions

Effective June 7, 2006, Washington law limits contributions to judicial candidates to a maximum of $1,400.00 per election from any individual, corporation, political party, Political Action Committee, union, or other entity. If the candidate runs in a primary and a general election, each of those elections counts separately.

The only contributions of $5,000.00 or more accepted by any of this year's judicial candidates are the following. These contributions were all made during the last 30 days before the law became effective; they are the 15 largest contributions to any candidates in this year's judicial elections.
